A plain-English summary of what Game Idea Lab stores, why it stores it, and how to contact us about your data.
Game Idea Lab is an independent creator toolkit. It helps creators draft Roblox-style game ideas, names, thumbnail prompts, descriptions, roadmaps, and related planning content.
Data stored in your browser
The site may store anonymous generation counts, saved favorites, and small UI preferences in localStorage. Favorites remain in your browser unless you choose to share a generated result.
Generation requests
When AI generation is configured, requests are sent through Game Idea Lab server routes to DeepSeek. The request may include the tool inputs you typed, such as genre, vibe, game title, update theme, or planning notes. Local fallback generators can run when DeepSeek is unavailable.
Generation metadata may be logged in Neon Postgres for product analytics and debugging. This can include tool name, mode, prompt version, model name, latency, fallback reason, output name, output score, and timestamps.
Google sign-in and AI limits
Google sign-in is used to provide a higher AI generation limit and to support future account features such as saved history. Auth sessions may include your Google account identifier, name, email, and profile image as provided by Google. Server-side AI quota events store hashed account or anonymous visitor identifiers, tool name, mode, and timestamp.
Anonymous visitors are limited by a hashed browser/network signal. Signed-in users are limited by a hashed Google account identifier. These limits help control AI costs and reduce abuse while keeping public SEO pages available without login.
Shared results, battle votes, and feedback
If you save a share link, the generated result title, type, score, payload, and timestamp can be stored in Neon Postgres. Shared pages are public to anyone with the link, but they are noindexed by default and can be hidden by moderation.
Daily Battle votes can be stored in Neon Postgres for daily, 7-day, and all-time rankings. User-generated voting data is loaded asynchronously instead of being placed directly into SEO-critical article content.
Feedback form submissions can include feedback type, optional email, optional related page URL, message text, and timestamp. Use the feedback form only for information you are comfortable sending for review.
Analytics and third-party processors
Analytics hooks are prepared for GA4 or Plausible, but analytics IDs must be configured before events are sent to those providers. Depending on configuration, third-party processors may include Google for sign-in, DeepSeek for AI generation, Neon for database storage, and GA4 or Plausible for analytics.
Retention and deletion
Browser localStorage stays on your device until you clear it. Server-stored auth-related quota events, generation logs, feedback messages, battle votes, and shared results may be retained for product quality, safety, analytics, cost control, and abuse prevention. To request deletion of a shared result or feedback message, email lipengxs2014@gmail.com with the relevant URL or details.
Children and age-aware use
Game Idea Lab is a creator planning tool and is not designed to collect personal information from children. Do not submit personal information about children. Monetization and pricing tools are designed to discourage misleading urgency or spending pressure aimed at children.
Community moderation
Shared content may be reviewed and hidden if it appears unsafe, copied, spammy, misleading, low quality, or inconsistent with the site purpose. See the Community Guidelines and Editorial & Safety Policy for more detail.
